Whether you're organising a regular class, community activity, business meeting, workshop, party or family celebration, Abbotswood Community Centre offers a range of flexible spaces available to hire.
Our rooms can be booked by individuals, community groups, charities, organisations and businesses for both regular and one-off bookings.

Our Spaces
Main Hall
The Main Hall is the Centre’s largest room and is suitable for a wide variety of activities and events.
It is regularly used for exercise and dance classes, children’s activities, community events, meetings, parties, performances and larger group sessions.

Meeting Rooms
Our two meeting rooms provide practical, flexible spaces for smaller meetings, training sessions, workshops, consultations and group activities. They can also be combined and opened up as one room for a larger space used for dance, yoga and pilates sessions.

Interview Room
Our Interview Room is designed for one-to-one appointments and small meetings.
It may be particularly suitable for counselling, advice sessions, interviews, consultations, tutoring or confidential conversations where a quieter space is needed.

All bookings include shared use of our kitchen facilities, which are equipped with a fridge, drinking water, hot water tap and crockery, with a convenient serving hatch opening directly into the Main Hall. Main Hall bookings can also make use of our small outdoor garden space, offering an additional area for guests to enjoy when the weather allows.
The Community Centre is air conditioned throughout and has separate male and female toilet facilities, as well as an accessible toilet with a baby changing unit. We are also proud to provide free sanitary products for Centre users.
Each of our rooms is equipped with a selection of tables and chairs, with additional equipment available to hire at an extra cost. Our welcoming reception area is also a comfortable place to pause before or after your booking, speak to our Centre staff, find out what is happening locally, browse our community bookshelf or enjoy a hot drink from the vending machine.
